Avian Influenza, more commonly known as bird flu, became a major security concern to policy makers as they feared a domestic outbreak. As the producer of Tamiflu, the only proven therapy against avian influenza, Roche faced congressional scrutiny about its foreign origins and ability to produce enough therapies for our domestic stockpile.
KGA devised an advertising campaign targeting policy makers easing concern and helping prove that Roche is doing everything possible to meet US needs for Tamiflu.
