Jim serves as Managing Partner of Kearsarge Global Advisors. His expertise includes multinational crisis communications, public affairs, and ally development. His responsibilities involve managing client relationships, providing strategic counseling, and directing campaigns in the areas of communications and government relations.

Currently, Jim is engaged in international and domestic client activities ranging from helping foreign companies enter the U.S. marketplace to preparing comprehensive image and messaging campaigns. His lobbying efforts have focused on international trade and foreign policy as well as infrastructure and transportation policy.

Prior to forming KGA, Jim was a partner at National Media Inc. He was also Senior Counselor to Ted Forstmann, Senior Partner, Forstmann Little & Company, and to John Walton, Vice Chairman of the Wal-Mart Corporation. He oversaw a two-year, national public affairs campaign that achieved unparalleled success.

Over the course of his career, Jim has held numerous positions in public affairs and politics. He was Vice President and Group Manager at Ketchum Communications and Manager of Public Affairs as Burson-Marsteller. He was Senior Advisor to former Senator Phil Gramm during his time in the Senate, as well as a lead spokesman and strategist during his Presidential campaign. He has also worked for U.S. Senators Warren Rudman and Bob Dole.
